NCLEXpreps.com (“the Service”) is operated by Certin. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Account information: Email address, username, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash). Usage data: Flashcard progress, exam results, study streaks, and study activity. Payment data: Processed by Stripe - we never store your card details directly.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and maintain the Service, track your study progress, send transactional emails (welcome, password reset), send optional marketing emails (with opt-out), and process payments through Stripe.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), and Vercel (hosting). These providers process data on our behalf under their respective privacy policies.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at certinhq@outlook.com.

5. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics tools.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure payment processing through Stripe.

You may: access your personal data, update your account information, opt out of marketing emails, and request account deletion.
